History and Description
The Beato Josemaria Escrivà Church is dedicated to the founder of the Opus Dei, canonized in 1992.
Immediately after the canonization, plans were made for the construction of the church and in 1994 the foundation stone was laid. Two years later, on March 10, 1996, it was consecrated by the then Pope, John Paul II.
