Naples International Airport is called Capodichino by almost everyone, although its official name is Aeroporto di Napoli Ugo Liutta. It is located about 6 kilometers outside the city itself.

The airport is located along the Autostrada A56 (also called Tangenziale di Napoli), on the northeast side of the city. Via the A1 and the SS7 (better known as the Via Appia, the most famous of the ancient Roman consular roads) one can easily reach the A56. The address of the Capodichino Airport is Viale F. By bus: The Alibus runs from the airport via the Stazione Centrale-Piazza Garibaldi stop to the Porto-Piazza Municipio terminus. There are about three buses per hour. Tickets are sold by the driver and cost 4 Euros. If you book in advance they cost only 3 Euro. You can also take the regular, cheaper city bus (line S3), but it will take longer. The ticket for this bus can be bought at a tobacco store at the airport.
By cab: There are fixed rates for rides to the central station (15.50 Euro) and to the harbor (19 Euro). (Read more about cab fares in Naples).
The airport has free wifi and there is a luggage storage area.
The largest car rental companies (as well as some smaller ones) all have offices at Naples Airport. These are Avis, Budget, Europcar, Firefly, Hertz, Locauto Rent, Maggiore, Sicily by Car and Sixt.

There are six parking lots at Naples Airport, P, P1, P2, P3, P4 and P5. The covered parking lot P and P1 Low Cost, which is the cheapest, are for long term parking. In parking lot P2, the first 10 minutes are free.
Long Parking: Parking Lot P and P1. P1’s rates are in parentheses. Up to 12 hours: 15 Euro (9 Euro); up to 24 hours: 25 Euro (18 Euro); up to 2 days: 50 Euro (36 Euro); up to 3 days: 75 Euro (54 Euro); one week: 100 Euro (59 Euro); each additional day or part thereof: 15 Euro (9 Euro).
Short-term parking: Parking lots P2 to P5. (Fraction of) one hour: 3,50 Euro. Maximum day 1: 36 Euro. After that every (fraction of) 12 hours 36 Euro extra.
