Mario Praz (1896-1982) was an intellectual and inveterate art collector, who scoured the flea markets and antique stores of Rome for neoclassical art. More than 1,400 works of art, including furniture, paintings, drawings, sculptures and other objects of various kinds bear witness to this passion.
