The collection of the Museo Mineralogico of Semproniano is spread out over three rooms and consists of over 300 individual pieces. The majority of the stones on display are local or national, but some are from other parts of the world.

The Museo Mineralogico of Semproniano was founded by a group of private individuals.
The samples on display are classified by area.
Of course, most of the samples were taken from the Monte Amiata mining area itself.
