History and Description

The Palazzo Petrucci was built in the early 15th century by the Del Balzo family.
However, its name refers to its next occupant, Antonello Petrucci, baron of the kingdom of Naples and secretary to Ferrante d’Aragona.
Both in 1688 and in the 19th century, the Palazzo Petrucci was renovated. In 1688 this had become necessary after an earthquake had caused much damage.
The beautiful marble portal dates back to the 15th century.
