History and description
You will have to a bit of traveling, but the “I Rigattieri di San Basilio” in the Via del Casale di San Basilio, off the Via Nomentana, could be an interesting choice.
To quote the man who organizes this market, which is held every Sunday from 9AM until 8PM: “We aim to keep the market simple, by allowing only real junk dealers, who have emptied cellars, attics and garages that have not been touched for years and can be full of interesting objects. This way we have created a group of loyal visitors, who are at the market every week.”
Next to old postcards and vinyl records you can find tools here that belong to forgotten trades, as well as glass vases from Murano and antique musical instruments.
Admission is free.
