The San Biagio Church in Nepi dates back to the middle of the 10th century. The church was part of a monastic complex belonging to the San Ciriaco in Via Lata Monastery in Rome.

Address: Piazza San Biagio, 11 – Nepi. At the moment (October 2023), both the Chiesa di San Biagio and the adjacent Madonna delle Grazie Church are closed for restoration works.
History and description
The San Biagio Church in Nepi was first mentioned in 10th century documents.
It consists of a single nave.
The portal is framed by a wide bas-relief.
In the apse there are paintings from different eras. The oldest of these were painted in the 12th century.
On the left side of the presbytery, there is a tabernacle dedicated to San Biagio decorated with 15th century paintings.
In the crypt, there are frescoes from the 13th and 14th centuries.
Although the church has been restored many times over the centuries, its general appearance has not been altered.
