The centrally located Piazza Bra is an excellent place to take as a starting point to visit Verona. The most famous building and symbol of the city, the Arena, is located on this square. In addition to this attraction, there are a number of interesting and beautiful historic buildings.

The Piazza delle Erbe has been the political centre of the city since it was constructed. It is connected to Piazza dei Signori by means of an archway. The square is full of monuments and is surrounded by some of the most important buildings of the city. There is a market every morning.

The Piazza dei Signori is located next to Piazza Erbe. Of the two, Piazza dei Signori is the most stately and is lined by a number of prestigious buildings. In the middle of the square you can see Dante admiring his surroundings. From the Torre dei Lamberti the view is even better.
