The “Theater of Sciences” in Alessandria consists of two parts, namely the Natural History Museum and the Astronomical Laboratory.

An introductory video at the entrance describes the origin and development of the Earth. This is followed by the actual exhibition area with rocks, minerals and fossils, which you can look at and are allowed to touch.

One of the highlights is a scale model of the area around Alessandria.

In a transparent cylinder, butterflies from all over the world can be seen.

What to see

Under the dome of the Planetarium a vault has been created on which 6500 stars can be seen. Here you can see the different galaxies as they appear at various times of the year.

There is also a large photo reproduction of the Milky Way.
