The Virgiliano Park (Parco Virgiliano) is located high above the city of Naples, on the western tip of Posillipo hill. As such, it offers stunning views of the Mediterranean, including the Gulf of Naples and the islands of Capri and Ischia. It is also called Parco delle Rimembranze.

Entrance to the park is free. The address is Viale Virgilio – Naples. Bus: C1, C21, C27, C31. Opening hours: From July to September from 07:00 to 01:00; May and June from 07:00 to 24:00; the rest of the year from 07:00 to 21:00. Italian name: Parco Virgiliano.
The Virgiliano Park consists of a number of terraces looking down on the Gulf of Naples.
There are several playgrounds in the park, which is especially popular among young people during weekends.
Towards sunset, the view is at its best.
There is also a modern amphitheatre where performances are often held.
